The film has multiple storylines that interlink in a clever and interesting way, as all of the beloved characters get their own moments to shine in some remarkable action scenes and some emotionally harrowing ones.

| Heroes unite in Wakanda to save the Universe |
The film is dark, both visually and in tone, and very violent. Characters are dispatched with ease, and the downbeat and distressing finale sets up an epic sequel that makes you ask yourself exactly how they are going to sort everything out in a way that isn’t cheap, stupid or a sloppy deux ex machina.

I really enjoyed the battle in New York with Iron Man, Dr Strange, Bruce Banner and Spider-Man, and the fight in Wakanda is a show-stopping spectacular. The ending is also very poignant, and includes a very sad moment between two of the most treasured heroes.

Even though some of the stories aren’t as interesting as the others – I’m looking at you Scarlett Witch and Vision - Thor and Gamora’s sub-plots provide the emotional heart of the film, and Iron Man and Captain America get to lead the rest of the team against the forces of Thanos.

The first superhero film to ever gross over $2 billion worldwide, and now the fourth highest grossing film of all time,
Avengers: Infinity War is a huge step up from
Avengers: Age of Ultron and
Captain America: Civil War. Although it is quite complicated, the addition of characters such as Spider-Man, Black Panther and the Guardians of the Galaxy add extra layers that elevate the film as we get to see all of the Marvel superheroes come together in their fight against evil.

An epic Blockbuster with huge scale, a huge cast and huge action sequences, Avengers: Infinity War is an excellent action film that certainly delivers a bang for your buck.
