Firstly the formula is lovely, it is reminiscent of the L'Oreal Liquid lipsticks that i posted about the other day (L'Oreal L'extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick) they are thick and creamy (haha sounds sexual) on the lips and feel good on the lips unlike the Revlon Moisture Stains. The shades i swatched in store were the two i bought and the red shade, all of which were beautifully pigmented. They were slightly sticky on my hand and when i tried to wash them off in the bathroom it didn't really work but that's how you know they are good. They don't feel too sticky on the lips which is another bonus.
I went for the shades 105 Petal Plush and 705 Blush Essence, both of which are pink shades, i don't think i buy another other colours really. 105 Petal Plush is a pale pink colour with silvery shimmer in it which i quite like in my lip gloss. The second shade 705 Blush Essence is a darker pink but still very natural looking, once again it had shimmer in it but it is less obvious. Not only are they beautiful colours but they smell amazing, a little bit like cocoa butter, i think. Whatever it is, it is lovely and if you are in Superdrug i would give them a cheeky sniff.
Personally i don't like the packaging, i think it looks cheap and tacky, the plastic isn't very good and i don't like that it looks like a lipstick. I get that it is because it is meant to be like a liquid lipstick but i just don't like it. There is a similar Dior packaging and my feelings are the same about those lipsticks as well, i like a classic look to packaging and these are just a little bit out there for me.
I bought these two in Superdrug when i was randomly in there the other day and i noticed them. They weren't in my local Boots so if you are interested i would check out your local Superdrug where they are on offer for buy one get one half price. They are definitely worth the hype of the American bloggers and those lucky British bloggers who got them from America. I love them and they definitely rival the L'Oreal liquid lipsticks. The shades in the range are more pinky which is good for me but there is a smaller range than the L'Oreal version. If you are in Superdrug i would pick one up if i were you.
