I am also starting to rebase my old 1/72 scale AWI troops onto smaller bases that will better fit my hexes on my game mat. These will be used with Tricorn, the AWI version of Commands & Colors rule system. As part of the rebasing, I'm also giving the rather garish troops a wash of dark brown to bring out the details, and being plastic, there are plenty of folds and such to bring out. It's always amazing how a simple wash can make such a difference.
